are much delighted to tell you that Hong Kong Storage has been awarded
the “Caring Company 2003/05” logo by the Council of Social Service to
recognize that Hong Kong Storage demonstrates good corporate
citizenship and participates aggressively in community and charity
services.
In year 2003, we acted as the logistic
adviser of the “Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Recovery Programme” which was organized by St. James’ Settlement
(SJS)*. We helped them to refine the management of warehouses and
streamline the workflow in order to deal with numerous electronic
appliances from hundreds of locations. We also provided logistic
support to storage and distribution of the received items. As a result,
the storage and operation capacity was dramatically optimized while the
cost was reduced.
Looking forward, we will continue to
innovatively enhance our service and actively initiate partnership with
social service sectors, and upkeep “Commitment to Excellence” spirit in
community services to help in building a more caring and cohesive
society.
