Hongkong storage explores growth potential for self-storage in China
On September 8, 2015, Hongkong Storage was honored to accept the invitation from Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) as the guest speaker of the seminar in Shanghai. At the seminar, Alex Chung, managing director of Hongkong storage shared the topic about “Why We Need to Develop the China Market”, which includes the market potential, demand and supply condition, and China government policy change.
He mentioned the concept of Self-storage service is very new to the China market, in conjunction with thriving economies and soaring the cost of real estate, consumers have turned to self –storage to fulfill their needs, while we strive to meet the demands of this expanding industry. According to the statistics the distribution of the money income with higher education of resident, we have taken our first step to Shanghai and started to develop our business in China.
Meanwhile, we are proud to announce that our new PRC headquarters of 12,000 square feet will be opened in Shanghai at the end of this year, which is a key part of our expansion plans to Asia-pacific, “We deliver quality service in Hong Kong, and we target to bring it to mainland China, allowing the mainland Chinese to experience the delicate living atmosphere and enjoy the better life,” says Alex Chung, managing director of Hongkong storage.
