Hongkong Storage Mini Storage

1. Storage Insurance

For the greatest protection of our customers during the storage period, we also provide free storage insurance to all customers. The highest amount of compensation for each storage unit is HK$10,000 (per item not more than $1,000). Customers who need to purchase additional storage insurance can contact us or they can purchase it themselves.

2. Additional charges for stairway moving

Stairs of 10 steps or above are considered as 1 floor and the additional charge for each floor is HK$200. For details, please call our Customer Service Department at 3602 7722.

3. Chargeable transportation service

Customers can choose to use Hongkong Storage transportation service. Charges are depending on the location and quantity of items, please contact us for more information.

4. Termination of storage service

Customers may terminate their storage at any time after the minimum storage period, provided that at least seven days’ notice is given.

5. Loss or damage of accessories relating to storage facilities

In the event that the customer loses or returns damaged parts, the customer shall pay the relevant administrative costs as set out below.:

3. How to use YS Jumbo Cabinet?

Customers can choose to pick up their YS Jumbo Cabinet from the storage center without appointment during customer service duty hours. For quick and convenient service, we recommend customers to give at least one hour’s notice for pick-up. Customers can also make an appointment to access the locker through Yes-Storage mobile app or customer service hotline according to the appointment schedule of each storage center. (Except for individual stores)

Yes-Storage Valet Storage

1. How to sign up for Yes-Storage valet storage service?

  • You can schedule the delivery of Yes-Storage valet storage through our website or call Yes-Storage service hotline at 3602 7722.
2. Arrangements for signing contract

Easy to sign the contract at home when the shipping department delivers the Yes-Storage valet storage to the customer’s home.

3. Method of first-time payment

Customers can settle the payment by online credit card or PayPal at the time of registration, or by cash or cheque upon first delivery of the Yes-Storage valet storage. If you would like to use an interest-free installment credit card for automatic payment transfer, please contact our Customer Service Department for details.

4. Do I need all Yes-Storage valet storage together for each transportation?

6. How can I identify what is stored in the box?

The Yes-Storage valet storage number will be displayed on the label of your storage box, and you can make a reference to the contents. You can also record the information of the contents through Yes-Storage App.

7. Meaning of Single Trip Service

The first time we deliver a new Yes-Storage valet storage is free of charge, and each subsequent pick-up or delivery of the boxes will be counted as a single trip.

For example, if the customer arranges one trip to deliver the Yes-Storage valet storage home, and then arranges for the Yes-Storage valet storage to be brought back to the central warehouse for storage, this will be counted as two single trips.

8. Where will the Yes-Storage Yes-Storage valet storage be stored and can I come and inspect them?

Yes-Storage valet storage are centrally stored. For security reasons, the storage center is closed to visitors.

9. What is the storage environment?

24-hour climate and humidity control, Yes-Storage area with Ozone (ozone) emitter to enhance environmental hygiene protection. Regular and seasonal pest control, and dedicated cleaning and inspection of storage facilities.

10. What is the volume of the Yes-Storage package and the dimension of the Yes-Storage valet storage?

The entire assembly volume is 46″ W x 19″ D x 42″ H. The volume is approximately comparable to a single-door, seven-foot-tall closet.

There are 4 types of Yes-Storage valet storage for customers to select from:

11. Is there any weight limit for each type of Yes-Storage valet storage?

Yes, there is a weight limit for each Yes-Storage valet storage.

12. For what kind and quantity of items are the various Yes-Storage valet storage suitable for storage?

Notice: YE box is designed for hanging clothes only and should not be used for storing folded clothes.

13. Is it possible to change the box during the contract period and will the Yes-Storage valet storage be replaced if it is damaged?

If you need to change the box in the course of the contract, you need to purchase a Yes-Storage valet storage separately.

The Yes-Storage valet storage price is as follows:

If the mini-box is broken due to wearing out, Yes-Storage will replace the Yes-Storage valet storage for free.

14. How long do customers need to book the transportation before? And at what time is the transportation service available?

Please call our Customer Service Hotline at least 2 working days in advance to arrange the transportation service.

Service hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm. Sundays and public holidays are closed.

If customer wishes to use the pick-up and delivery service outside the service hours, a surcharge of HK$400-HK$800 will be charged on a per case basis.

Document Storage of Hongkong Storage

1. ls Hongkong Storage trustworthy?

2. What are the charges?

The charge is determined by the number of boxes that you have. Please call 3602 7722 for a quote.

3. How do the documents are stored?

All documents are stored in a humidity and temperature controlled warehouse with a G4S Security System and Fire Safety System. To ensure the integrity of the documents, we routinely perform pest control.

4. Do you offer additional services related to document storage?

Other than document storage, we offer disposal, destruction and digitization of documents, and our customers can also use our ministorage to store items other than documents.

5. How is the time needed to withdraw and deliver the document box?

We normally deliver documents to your office within two to three days. If you need the documents to be delivered within one day, you can use our express delivery service (surcharge applies).

6. Will there be a minimum quantity for storage?

Our minimum storage quantity is only 50 boxes.

7. Workflow of using the Document Box
  • Sort the documents by year and department name and store them in the R Box / CR Box supplied by Hongkong Storage.
  • Add a code number on the top of each box.
  • Put the sealing label provided by Hongkong Storage with your company seal and stick it to the opening of the box.
  • Clients may arrange with us by phone, email, or fax to pick up the boxes.
  • We will stick a barcode label on each box and deliver it to our warehouse for storage.
  • If customers request to retrieve the documents, they can call, email, or fax us to make arrangements.
9. How to track the document boxes?

We use the SAP computer system to manage the warehouse, and the coding records of each box are in the system. Whenever we move a box, we will update the records of each box in the system simultaneously using the handheld barcode scanner.

7. Are there any delivery address restrictions?

General Questions

1. Opening a Storage Account

For Personal Customers, the Company will only accept customers aged 18 or above who are Hong Kong residents. For Commercial Customers, we will only accept companies registered in Hong Kong with a registered address in the territory. Hongkong Storage reserves the right to accept customers to open storage accounts.

2. Fees payable at the time of account opening

Customers are required to pay the monthly storage fee, storage deposit, transportation service fee (if applicable), smart card fee (if applicable) and other service charges (if applicable) at the time of account opening.

3. What kind of items not allowed to be stored?

If the customer has items that may adversely affect the storage safety of other customers, including but not limited to:

  • Dangerous, explosive or flammable items
  • Prohibited or illegal items
  • Food, or perishable items
  • Animals, plants
  • Psychologically disturbing (e.g. ashes)
  • Large furniture (exceeding the storage capacity of the warehouse), fragile items
  • Items that are hazardous to any person, company or property
4. ``Premium Move for You`` Service
  • Please book your service at 3602 7722 no less than 4 working days before the transportation date. If the desired transportation time is full, the Customer Service Department will provide alternative time for the customer to select.
  • Subject to contract period. For details, please refer to Mini Storage’s Terms and Conditions for “Premium Move for You” Service.
  • The transportation service hours of “Premium Move for You” Service are from 10:00am to 5:00pm, closed on Sundays and public holidays.
5. Are there any restrictions on delivery addresses?

There is no delivery to outlying islands and there is a bridge fee for Discovery Bay.

6. Authorization

To be entitled to use the storage service, the customer must be the customer himself/herself, the customer’s authorized person, or the company’s authorized person. Hongkong Storage reserves the right to require the customer or his/her authorized person to produce identification documents for verification of identity.

The customer/company must complete our authorization form in order to register an individual as an authorized person to use the storage service.
